Ambientes CASACOR São Paulo 2026 (CASACOR)
CASACOR São Paulo 2026 brought together, at Parque da Água Branca, 70 projects inspired by Mind and Heart, the theme that guided the edition. Architecture, design, and landscaping explored paths linked to memory, nature, affection, and presence, translated into projects that invited visitors to slow down and look at the home from new perspectives.
After the exhibition closed, the CASACOR team mapped out the seven projects that resonated most with the public and the press. In alphabetical order, the following selection presents the projects and recovers reflections from their authors in interviews given to our website.
Maria Fernandes Marques Paisagismo - Da Terra ao Solo. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2026. (Roberta Gewehr/CASACOR)
In Da Terra ao Solo, Maria Fernanda Marques created a 330 m² garden that brought together ecological landscaping, art, and biodiversity. Rocks positioned based on habitat medicine, beehives by João Machado, and totems by Carol Ambrósio were integrated into the vegetation, while the porch gathered memories and fragments of the landscape designer's trajectory.
"Visitors came in eager to see the indoor projects, and we had the mission of making them stop to learn about the underlying causes of our project," says Maria Fernanda, citing biodiversity, insects, Brazilian art, and composting among the pillars of the space. The complete interview with the landscape designer delves deeper into the references and principles that guide her work.
Nildo José | NJ+ Arquitetos - Casa Coral Celeiro Alvorada. (Juliano Colodeti, do MCA Estúdio/CASACOR)
In Casa Coral Celeiro Alvorada, Nildo José turned his father's memory into the guiding thread of a 213 m² living room. The large bookshelf with books and photographs, the purple helical staircase, and the travertine countertop with rural figures created an atmosphere marked by references to farm life and by an architecture charged with affection.
For the architect, the greatest achievement was "presenting a project that truly translated our vision" and realizing that his authenticity and vulnerability resonated with the public. Nildo José talks more about memory, emotion, and his way of telling stories through architecture.
Felipe de Almeida - Casa Memórias Essenciais. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2026. (Bia Nauiack/CASACOR)
Casa Memórias Essenciais brought together, in 115 m², countryside, classic, and contemporary references in an unapologetically maximalist composition. Large windows, exposed trusses, dark cabinetry, floral wallpapers, and objects from Felipe de Almeida's personal collection created a home marked by layers of memory and personality.
"Many people asked me what style that was, and I said: 'It's the Felipe de Almeida style,'" says the designer, who combines diverse references intuitively in his creative process. Memory, craftsmanship, and the freedom to mix styles are among the topics addressed by Felipe in the interview.
Gabriel Fernandes - Casa Simonetto - Tributo a Janete Costa. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2026. (Denilson Machado, do MCA Estúdio/CASACOR)
Gabriel Fernandes paid tribute to Janete Costa in a 160 m² space marked by the appreciation of craftsmanship and Brazilian know-how. The pau-ferro shelf with hand-carved drawers, the fabrics produced on a loom, and the works linked to the collection of the Pernambuco-born architect reinforced the presence of Brazilian culture in the project.
For Gabriel, the repercussion of the project was important precisely because it broadened the visibility of these works. "The artisans are seen, the works are presented, and we are able to create prominence for the elements that mark and value our culture," he states. The architect details this relationship between craftsmanship, memory, and Brazilian identity throughout the conversation with CASACOR.
Estúdio Clara Nahas - Estúdio Semibreve. (Carolina Mossin/CASACOR)
Inspired by the musical figure of longest duration, Estúdio Semibreve proposed a house devoted to a slower pace. In 55 m², Clara Nahas combined burgundy ceramics, a record player, golden grass, and emotional references, including a musical score composed by her mother on the day she was born.
"The greatest achievement, without a doubt, is the recognition," says the architect, who celebrated the possibility of transforming into a physical experience a language already followed by the public on social media. In the full interview, Clara Nahas reveals the behind-the-scenes of the show and reflects on authenticity and digital presence.
Paulo Azevedo - Memórias Costuradas em Uso. (Carolina Mossin/CASACOR)
Right at the entrance of the first mansion, Memórias Costuradas em Uso proposed a pause before the rest of the tour. In the 50 m² hall, Paulo Azevedo placed a 12 m² tent amidst fabrics, light, and shades of blue, creating an atmosphere linked to memory, welcoming, and introspection.
"CASACOR is a place where there is a great expectation of novelty, visual impact, and photography. And I wanted to do just the opposite," explains the professional, who sought to create a space to be lived in, and not just observed. Paulo Azevedo's trajectory before, during, and after the show takes on new contours in his account.
Rafaella Manso Arquitetura - Notas em Linhas. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2026. (Fernando Crescenti/CASACOR)
In Notas em Linhas, Rafaella Manso transformed the staircase and lounge of the first mansion into a tribute to music. A 1951 piano belonging to the architect's grandmother, a mobile inspired by musical scores, and stained glass windows designed from the golden ratio guided the experience through the 74 m².
"CASACOR allows us to explore the playful, the unexpected, and solutions that might not be part of a conventional residential project," says Rafaella, who found in the show a space to experiment and provoke new perceptions. Her debut at CASACOR, the project's references, and the lessons from the experience appear in a special conversation with the architect.
