CASACOR Minas Gerais has already defined the cast for its 31st edition. Between August 15 and October 6, the show returns to occupy the headquarters building of PUC Minas Lourdes, bringing together 53 architects, designers, and landscapers, responsible for 40 unprecedented projects created from the theme "Mind and Heart".

The return to the building designed in 1938 by Italian architect Raffaello Berti reinforces a characteristic that has accompanied CASACOR Minas for over three decades: its role in the preservation and appreciation of local architectural heritage. After hosting the 30th anniversary edition, the building continues to receive recovery and conservation interventions, which maintain its original characteristics and leave a permanent legacy for both the university and the capital of Minas Gerais.
More than a platform for content, entertainment, and networking, the show reinforces how buildings of architectural relevance can gain new meanings when opened to coexistence and cultural enjoyment — thus prompting new uses for spaces already consolidated in the urban landscape.

"Mind and Heart" proposes a reflection on the balance between reason and emotion, innovation and memory, technology and sensitivity. At a moment when architecture is called upon to respond to environmental, social, and urban challenges, the edition invites professionals to conceive projects that promote well-being, stimulate human connections, and reclaim the value of affection, identity, and ancestry.
The proposal stems from a simple observation: contemporary living is no longer limited to functionality. Spaces have come to reflect new ways of living, working, hosting, and coexisting — especially after the profound transformations of recent years. That's why the show combines technical intelligence and emotion, sustainability and belonging, innovation and welcome.

This edition's team combines professionals from different generations and languages: names who helped build the history of CASACOR Minas alongside talents now emerging in the architecture, design, and landscaping scene. Among the confirmed veterans are Myrna Porcaro, Estela Netto, Fabíola Constantino, Alex Rousset, Gustavo Greco, Glaucia Britto, and the firm BCMF, formed by Bruno Campos, Silvio Todeschi, and Marcelo Fontes. These professionals with consolidated careers in the market share space with 10 newcomers.

In landscaping, the edition once again features long-standing names in the show, such as Nana Guimarães, Flávia D'Urso, and Kat Rosa — each with her own reading of the relationship between nature, city, and quality of life.
