CASACOR Bahia wrapped up its 32nd edition with the ceremony that has become a tradition at the show: the announcement of the winners of the CASACOR Bahia Award, which took place last Monday (8/31), at Casa Nossa Senhora das Mercês, in Salvador. Architects, designers, and landscapers who signed the projects of the edition gathered for a festive night to discover the highlights, chosen by the evaluation of a technical jury, made up of journalists from national and international outlets, and by the popular vote – open to the public through the show's official app.
Even before knowing the names, guests already had part of the night's story in their hands: the trophy given to each winner is an exclusive piece by artist Luciana Bittencourt, made from roots collected in areas of Chapada Diamantina affected by fires and deforestation. The choice speaks directly to the axis that structured the entire edition: sustainability. It was at the 32nd CASACOR Bahia that the show carried out, for the first time, an emissions inventory using the GHG Protocol methodology and published its first ESG report.
Meet the list of CASACOR Bahia Award winners:

"Seeing these professionals recognized is one of the most special moments of the show. In the 32nd edition, the award celebrated those who translate sensitivity into design and help renew, each year, the way we think about contemporary living," stated Magali Santana, director of CASACOR Bahia.
Once the winners were announced, the night shifted in tone: singer Simone Sampaio took the stage accompanied by a DJ for a repertoire dedicated to the 1980s and 1990s, which brought guests to the dance floor and closed the celebration of the edition in a festive mood.
