At CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2026, bedrooms appear less as isolated projects and more as extensions of their occupants' lives. There are spaces to slow down, store memories, work, create, welcome technology, and even accompany different stages of life. In proposals ranging from the bedroom of a 60+ couple to the studio of a ceramist, the featured professionals explore different ways to make these projects more personal and adaptable.

Wood, fibers, fabrics, earthy colors, and vintage references appear in different projects, but not as a single formula. In each project, these elements help build particular stories — whether through the memory of the region, the relationship with nature, craftsmanship, or the memories of those who live there. The result is spaces where comfort and identity carry as much weight as aesthetics.

Longevity permeates bedroom choices

In Quarto NOLT, Caru Cunha starts from a trend linked to new ways of experiencing maturity. The name abbreviates New Older Living Trend, an expression that guides a minimalist project designed for a 60+ couple who recognize the luxury of enjoying time without rush.

Pure volumes, precise lines, and materials of discreet beauty build a serene atmosphere. The sense of welcome appears in the woven fabric headboard and in the wall coverings, while vintage objects, photographs, and travel mementos help tell a shared life story. "It is a scene of serene elegance, in which aesthetics embrace stories and living becomes an expression of identity," Caru defines.

A children's bedroom that follows the phases of life

Another trend present at the show is the creation of less literal children's spaces, capable of accompanying different phases of life. In O Primeiro Refúgio, Adriana Fontana brings together affective memory and contemporaneity to propose a new interpretation of the classic.

The checkered pattern takes the leading role, while greens, warm woods, and leather textures form a palette connected to nature and affection. Vintage references coexist with current solutions, avoiding the conventional children's repertoire and extending the aesthetic longevity of the project. "It is a space that is not limited to the label of a baby's bedroom. The idea is that it tells a story and can grow with the child, without being tied to an obvious children's repertoire," Adriana explains.

Hotel atmosphere meets regional identity

Bringing into the home the sense of welcome and comfort found in the hospitality industry is the starting point for Carina Rezende and Maísa Andrade in Terra Roxa. Multifunctional, the projects revisit Ribeirão Preto traditions through a contemporary language, with references to the history of coffee, the strength of the land, and the region's old farms.

The red earth appears translated in the tones of the fabrics and upholstery, creating an organic and enveloping atmosphere. The wood, present in the ceiling and joinery, evokes the coffee heritage and reinforces the sensations of authenticity and permanence. "It is a space where the memory of the land, the strength of history, and the duality between mind and heart come together to create warmth, contemplation, and belonging," say the professionals.

Well-being, purpose, and connection with nature

In the Ikigai Suite, Rose Kumayama combines Japanese heritage with a contemporary Brazilian interpretation. Inspired by the concept of Ikigai, associated with the "reason for living," the project finds in the tsuru, a bird traditionally related to health and longevity, one of the symbols to build its narrative.

Neuroarchitecture, science, and art meet in projects that prioritize pause and well-being. Wood, neutral tones, gentle lighting, and the green of the terrace compose the scenery, accompanied by furniture with organic lines and pieces linked to Brazilian craftsmanship. "A space designed for care, where the extraordinary lies in the pause, in natural light, in textures, and in the connection with nature," explains Rose. The proposal follows a trend increasingly present in interiors: thinking of the home as a well-being tool, with choices that favor slowing down, comfort, and connection with the essential.

The whole home as a space of welcome

In Your Well-Lived Home Electrolux, Fabrício Frezza and Gabriel Figueiredo expand the discussion to a dynamic, affectionate home full of stories, where different functions coexist naturally. The project values gatherings, conversations, relaxation, and self-care, combining technology with the feeling of a genuinely lived-in home. "A living home, with a happy and relaxing color palette and the comfort of natural materials in finishes, furniture, fabrics, and textures that invite, welcome, and embrace," the professionals define.

Blue, straw, beige, and green are combined with light wood, ceramic, fiber, cotton, and linen. The natural materiality reinforces the informal and comfortable atmosphere, while the Electrolux releases introduce technology as support for a contemporary routine in constant motion.

When living and creating occupy the same place

The flexibility of the projects also appears in the Casa-Ateliê da Ceramista, by HR Arquitetura. Here, the traditional idea of bedroom and residence gives way to a hybrid experience, in which living, working, creating, and resting are part of the same narrative.

The ceramist's wheel functions as the symbolic and physical axis of the project, while a concrete plate simultaneously takes on the functions of countertop, table, sculpture, and place for pause.

The MDF partition organizes the space without promoting isolation, reinforcing the fluidity between activities. "There is an old idea that persists in every real creative practice: that of an axis. A point of balance from which everything radiates," the professionals explain. Earthy colors, different textures, Deca fixtures, and precise forms complete the composition. "Nothing is decorative for being beautiful. Everything is beautiful because it is necessary."
