Choosing the right flooring for a project always raises questions among those who are not experts in the field. The variety of types, materials, patterns and finishes is vast and can be confusing. We have selected some of the most common types of flooring found at CASACOR . Check out the advantages and disadvantages of each one. Porcelains Consumers' favorites for cold areas! Porcelain tiles are highly resistant and come in a wide variety of sizes and patterns. Large format porcelain tiles have become a new product on the market in recent years, enhancing their use. The rectified version of the material allows the tiles to be installed very close together, making spaces even more elegant. Ceramics Ceramic tiles are very popular because they are affordable, durable and come in a wide variety of patterns and colors. However, they are not as resistant as porcelain tiles, but they perform well for those looking for a cheaper material. Natural Stone Among natural stones, there are those that are cheaper and more resistant, but that have a more common design, such as slate and elegant and imposing marble. Stone and its variations are among the most expensive coverings on the market and, despite their extreme elegance and sophisticated design, they are not very resistant, are porous, stain easily and are difficult to maintain. However, it is a noble material that increases the value of a project. Cement For those looking for a more modern and casual look, burnt cement and cement panels are a good option. Since they are seamless, the covering gives the space a continuous appearance. Installation must be done by specialized labor to avoid cracks, and removal requires heavy work.
