During CASACOR 2016 , we saw an old style of floor covering that returned with full force, revamped and with unparalleled charm. Fish scale flooring , which forms a zig zag pattern on the floor, was widely used in wooden blocks and was found in many homes. The covering format returned with a variety of layouts: parquet, parquet and even reclaimed wood, creating visuals in new, more contemporary versions. "The contemporary comes all the time bringing trends from the past to spice up the present. This is the key to a current and interesting project. The chevron emerged as one of these flavors last year, and each architect used it in the most creative way they could. We saw in the fabrics, carpets, floors of the most varied materials, and in our case, it came through in-depth research into the sophisticated 'living' in France by the sea that we wanted for the project", points out Tulio Xenofonte, who together with Fabio. Basani signed Living da Família at CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Check out eight ideas in the gallery above!
