The origin of humanity inspired Gustavo Neves to create Casa Neshamah, which in Hebrew means breath of life, developing his interpretation of the theme of CASACOR São Paulo 2018 ,The Living House . With 200 m2 , the space consists of a front garden, entrance hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, balcony and spa. The architect brings references to primitive human dwellings, presenting raw materials and a cave-like atmosphere. Life appears in its pure nature, without distinctions of gender, age, sex or color, under a more neutral look in an organic and neutral home. 
The basic elements of nature – water, fire, earth and air – appear in the garden landscaped by Luciana Yacubian, which features a reflecting pool and a firepit. Upon entering the space, visitors are surprised by the vintage metal mural, brass, almost 10 m long, recovered from a demolished building in the center of São Paulo. A stone tunnel leads to the entrance hall where the work Pau Osso, by Henrique Oliveira, is located. 
Inside, the space presents an interpretation of the roots of life. The walls and pillars represent the skeleton that structures biological formation. The stucco, handcrafted by the professional, represents the organs and skin, and all the waste from the own construction for its creation. The textured gray finish of the walls, finally, represents the emotional and psychological burdens, fruits of the human condition itself, following the instinct of survival and protection. 
The use of concrete, raw and semi-precious stones and marble, as well as metals, leather and natural skins, evokes the essential, as does the flooring, which is original to the Jockey Club of São Paulo. The choice of furniture follows the same principle, nothing is chosen in excess or in an unreasonable way. The furniture, largely designed by the architect himself, communicates directly with the choice of finishes: bronze, brass, carbon steel and natural leathers. Gustavo Neves specially selected the work of Silvia Mecozzi to compose the space. The 100 kg solid marble piece was hung in the center of the vault by a steel cable, representing a fusion of the masculine and the feminine, of the material and the immaterial. . The other works of art chosen for the space also reflect the architect's intention with the resumption of the most elementary characteristics. The work of Rodrigo Andrade and the photographs of the Ruach series, the result of the photographic essay by Gustavo Neves and Salvador Cordaro, are present. CASACOR SERVICE SAO PAULO 2018 WHEN?
