“I wanted to visually convey the character’s gender transition. A story marked by a lot of struggle and strength,” says Ricardo Abreu Borges about the project he signed for CASACOR São Paulo 2018 , Transtudio . In this context, the professional presents on site of 30 m² the sensitivity and tension of a transsexual woman, translating a hybrid of feelings, stories and sensations.

The space combines a living room, bedroom, bathroom and work area, with all spaces integrated and framed by a pink boiserie wall, an element responsible for lending a delicate fragrance to the project.

The bathroom is considered the highlight of the project. Normally hidden in houses, the toilet appears completely exposed in Transtudio , subverting architectural rules. “Here, the bathroom appears without shame and materializes the acceptance of the modified body”, he says. To crown the narrative aesthetics of the environment, he included a neon sign with the phrase “ Be Anything ” on the wall.
