CASACOR CE: project rescues memories of Ticiana Sanford in a reliquary

Ticiana Sanford's fond childhood memories were the inspiration for the design of the Reliquary - Lavatory with Hall at CASACOR Ceará 2019. English influences from her father's side and French influences from her mother's side are vernacularly inserted into the context of the architect's memories. Just like the blue sky of the farm in the backlands, represented by the paint on the walls and the exuberance of the tropical vegetation of the houses in Serra.

Sustainability permeates the environment in the reuse of objects and furniture, avoiding the production and consumption of natural resources. The bohemian atmosphere is a tribute to the cheerful personality of her maternal grandmother, Lucile. Personal objects and antique furniture, many of them from the last century, They form a reliquary of memories and show that it is possible to use what already exists to create, together with contemporary design, a beautiful and loving space.

Inside the bathroom, the Azuli stone from Ceará, originally from a quarry in São Gonçalo do Amarante, stands out amidst the blue atmosphere . The composition contrasts the contemporary and the traditional, which interact harmoniously.
