Sunset Lounge - Cyane Zoboli. CASACOR Espirito Santo 2019 (Felipe Araújo)

The Sunset Lounge is the translation of nature incorporated into architecture. Cyane Zoboli's project for CASACOR Espírito Santo expands the scope of the vision, without losing the comfort of being at home. The 130 m² space frames the view of Vitória Bay and uses natural resources, such as wood and glass, which give simplicity to the structure.

The glass panels mark the boundaries of Ticiane Lima's Casa Conecta for the exhibition in São Paulo and organically integrate the outdoor area with the living room. The space proposes a contemplative and contemporary atmosphere, for moments of relaxation, connection and reflection. The pivoting glass panels are a visual resource that directly dialogues with sustainability, encouraging the entry of natural light and ventilation.

In Rio de Janeiro, the minimalism of Casa DOA highlights the essential: the home as a private temple. Jacira Pinheiro uses few pieces of furniture and objects to provide comfort, which are combined with light colors and few partitions in the 90m² loft. Leather is used in the details of upholstered furniture, and plants help to bring even more life to the space.

Júnior Piacesi designs a shelter in Minas Gerais that is detached from the ground, six meters above the solid ground. The house encourages connections and emanates lightness and transparency, minimally interfering with the landscape. The mimetic façade covered in mirrors plays a game of hide and seek in the eucalyptus forest. Inside, the kitchen, table, bed, closet, bathroom and meditation space are integrated.

In Ribeirão Preto, Sarita Ávila's environment results from the perfect harmony between interior decoration and landscaping, automation and lighting projects. SPA Urbano explores wood in various finishes, in the chevron patterned ceiling and in the wall and floor slats. The white color refers to relaxation and stands out in the sculptural breezes on the side, where much of the natural light enters.

Cacau Ribeiro believes that being with family is essential. Also in Ribeirão, she designed the Loft Essencial, full of meaning. The frames form shelves and bring both natural light and the garden into the interior. The lamp is by Ingo Maurer, the armchair is designed by Sergio Rodrigues and the coffee table is by Rodrigo Ohtake.

The Collector's Loft is located in Bahia, full of art and affection. Designed by TRPC Arquitetos, the space is based on the premise that everyone collects memories and experiences. With simple architectural gestures, everything was designed to combine privacy and integration of spaces. The original Frei Egídio chair, designed by Lina Bo Bardi, and the marble table designed by the architects create a bold composition between the original design and the renowned pieces.

In Balneário Camboriú, the Refúgio dos Sentidos by Gouveia e Bertoldi Design de Interiores is a sensory island framed by natural greenery. The old structure was updated with integrated elements, automation, water and sewage treatment, an ecological roof and glass skins. Aromatic plants, sophisticated furniture and diverse textures mark the space.

The name of the project by Adelina Feitosa and Manuela Cidrão already reveals its objective: Raízes seeks to rescue the essence of Ceará, the state where it starred in the exhibition. The space combines architecture, landscaping, sustainability, music and poetry. A modern “oca” with a metal structure, covered by a sophisticated weave made of carnauba straw, sits under a reflecting pool.
