“Light becomes the building material of space” James Turrell
James Turrell is internationally acclaimed for his installations that involve spatiality and perception through light. At 74 years old, the American from Los Angeles has already won numerous awards for architecture and visual arts, including the Guggenheim Fellowship in 1974 and the Grand Medailles d'Argent, Fondation Academie d'Architecture, Paris, in the 2000s.
