Discover the imaginary worlds of Chad Knight

American artist Chad Knight started a challenge called the " 365 challenge ," which was intended to create a new piece of digital art every day as a simple exercise to help him improve his craft. Instead, it "quickly turned into a visual diary," Knight recalls in an interview with The Creators Project . The works exist in their own world, full of beautiful and terrifying impossibilities, like giant deconstructed skulls and a huge elephant man who looks like an ancient and powerful god. There’s none of the verisimilitude we typically associate with the real world. But at the same time, Knight says his visual diary is “so strongly encoded that I can share it with the world and make it easily understandable.” Today, the creations that were meant to be just a hobby have taken the world by storm, and the artist is already thinking about a second phase for the project.
