This week will be doubly busy at Anita Schwartz Galeria, with the opening, on Thursday, of two new exhibitions: Entre Águas , by Maritza Caneca, and Revoada , by Claudia Melli. Maritza Caneca continues her research on swimming pools, a theme that permeates her artistic career since 2012. In “Revoada”, Claudia Melli presents a set of drawings made between 2017 and 2018, in an allusion to the movement of life and the passage of time.

“This is still the work of the pools, but it is evolving. When I arrive at a pool, it is always a surprise. That is why I chose Budapest, with its thermal baths of Arab, Turkish and Roman origin. It is a vast universe of different forms”, comments Maritza. .
