Photographs play an important role in the history of art: they mark historical events, important moments in our lives or even a landscape or a beautiful object. There are photos for all tastes and styles. This is what the professionals at CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2018 show us, various shots adorn the walls and even the ceiling of one of the exhibition spaces. Check out the list below:
Loft do Homem, by Maurício Nobrega. Photographs played a central role in the design of this project, which has a small laboratory for developing films in the room, and several works by Brazilian photographers on the blank walls – which make the photo the main character of the space. The retractable photo panels change the scene at every moment. Studio Premium, by Fábio Bouillet and Rodrigo Jorge. In this urban retreat, designed for a young couple, Beto Gatti's photography, printed on leather wallpaper, welcomes visitors to the exhibition. The neutral color palette, such as gray, makes the photo stand out. Psychoanalysis Office, by Isabela Lucena and Paula Gusmão. The art refers to the passage of time through interventions in photographs, by Thainan Castro. In an intimate environment, the photos bring back cozy and nostalgic memories. Sala Carioca, by Marcia Müller and Manu Müller. In this environment, nature is the true protagonist.
