The work carried out for Imbari Color Shop, brings the “recipe” for a thousand colors from the artist’s palette

The process of creating and working with colors is subtle and delicate. The city of Imbari, in southern Japan, is famously known for the excellence of its dyeing, especially due to the good quality of its water. Therefore, nothing more logical than a colorful installation to honor all this knowledge at Imbari Color Shop.
The artist chosen to execute the work was the French architect Emmanuelle Moureaux. Born in Europe, Emmanuelle has lived in Japan for over twenty years. The sculpture created is called 1000 COLORS RECIPE (recipe for 1000 colors) and is both a visual and spatial representation of the tones present in the architect's palette.
