The Estúdio Clara Nahas has a recent history, with only two years since its founding, yet it already stands out both on and off social media. There are more than 100,000 followers on Instagram, nearly 80,000 on TikTok, and one of the most talked-about projects at CASACOR São Paulo 2026, the Estúdio Semibreve.

In her debut at the show, the architect born in Vitória (ES) paid a posthumous tribute to her mother. The space was designed to be musical, inspiring, and educational – this is because Clara Nahas's mother was a professional pianist, having even composed one of the songs displayed in the project! All this affection blended with the authentic style the studio already applies in its other projects. They are characterized by a deep investigation of volumetric proportions and by expressive materialities.

Clara Nahas's trajectory may have started a short time ago, but it will certainly go beyond the closing of CASACOR São Paulo 2026. Below, seven questions to get to know the architect's authenticity.
Clara Nahas: The two main challenges were: regarding the project I made for CASACOR itself, it was fitting an entire apartment into 55 sqm, with such a challenging floor plan, without giving up the narrative depth I really wanted to bring. The second challenge that I wasn't familiar with, since it was my debut at CASACOR, was keeping the office running during these very intense months of the show. Splitting time between working on the project, visiting the construction site, attending to clients, and handling the entire Studio's routine was quite challenging!
The greatest achievement, without a doubt, is the recognition. I have an audience online that closely follows our projects, and giving them the chance to visit something physical designed by us was incredible!.
C.N.: Without a doubt, the burgundy cylindrical volume that crosses the studio, marking functions and giving a lot of personality to the project. It is almost like a heart in the center of the space. It was entirely covered in an artisanal wine-colored ceramic. On the outside, at the height of the bedroom, it gains a sculpted cutout that becomes a desk, crowned by shelves. In addition, it features the score of a song that my mother wrote for me when I was born! It is truly a space that carries the entire project within its body.

C.N.: For sure, the deadline! Everything has to be done in record time, both the design and its execution. This exposes the design capacity of the firms, in my opinion.
C.N.: Dialogue is one of the main starting points of a project. Beyond being just another item in our portfolio, what we are building here as architects are projects that will be the home of many different people. Sometimes I feel that listening in our field is very poor, and that, despite us being the professionals, listening to and respecting the demands of someone else's routine is a crucial part of our work. I create authentic projects designed for each person who lives there.

C.N.: Authenticity. I feel that authenticity beats anything else. I think the market is a bit addicted to reproducing ready-made formulas. I really enjoy the exercise of having a language that is mine, recognizable. I think it is one of the characteristics I like most about my work.
C.N.: I want to see a house of mine being built. I have some architectural projects for residences that have not yet come off the paper. It is one of my professional dreams!.

C.N.: I think places shape my vision more than anything else. I would say that destinations like Mexico City and Australia have a lot to do with my way of designing.
