A house is never completely finished: it changes places, gains new objects, incorporates stories, and transforms along with those who live in it. It is from this idea that CASACOR premieres Those Who Design Also Live, a series of five videos in which professionals from the cast reveal their creative processes for a project in constant motion: that of their own homes.
Sponsored by Lar Center, the series opens the doors of the homes of five professionals and shows how references, affections, objects, and personal experiences are transformed into project choices. The web series reinforces Lar Center's commitment to valuing and recognizing professionals in architecture, interior design, and landscaping.

In the first chapter, already available, the guest is decorator Marina Linhares. With a career of nearly three decades and a historical relationship with CASACOR, Marina brings to her home the same attentive eye to stories and affections that runs through her work. An example is the gazebo that today integrates the living room of the main house: the structure was part of her first participation in CASACOR and, after the show, gained a new destination when it was taken to her own home.

In her house, there is space for chance, for memory, and for the changes that happen naturally with time. "This house is not a house with rigidity. It has several decorators. So someone will pass through here and leave something, that's how a house works. A house of people, for people, has this movement."
It is in this place where the "poetry of dwelling" that the decorator speaks of resides: in what cannot be fully planned. "I would love to think of a setup as our way of making art, of making poetry. It happens, it flows. Poetry happens. That's why the house is always in motion.
After Marina Linhares, "Those Who Design Also Live" also visits the homes of four other professionals from the CASACOR cast. The next episodes will be released in the coming weeks, expanding the series' view on different repertoires, choices, and ways of inhabiting. Among the confirmed names are architect Marcelo Salum and architect Patricia Martinez.
Watch the first episode of "Those Who Design Also Live", with Marina Linhares, and follow the next chapters of the series on Youtube and on CASACOR's Instagram.
