Leticia Nannetti transforms the laundry room into a beautiful and cozy space

Often neglected when planning a home's decor, the laundry room has gained new attention thanks to the work of Minas Gerais architect Leticia Nannetti , who has proven that the space can also be delicate and welcoming. In her second participation at CASACOR São Paulo , the architect masterfully expresses her affection for Minas Gerais in her EnCantos space, highlighting the visual and sensorial richness of the cultural elements . The 35 m² space combines the traditional with the contemporary, featuring artisanal items from Minas Gerais such as embroidery, weaving, ceramics and basketwork. The custom-made carpentry and the technology of the appliances are discreetly integrated, creating a welcoming atmosphere. "Visitors will notice the subtle link that involves the charm of the past with the practicality of the present ," says Leticia. The space also features natural materials , such as the brick-like flooring and the rustic clay cladding. LED lighting enhances both the work and the decorative objects, encouraging new uses of the space . Letícia believes that the laundry room should also be a space for decompression and connection, where activities such as gardening can also be included and enjoyed.

This laundry room is more than just a place to perform daily tasks; it celebrates roots and legacies while embracing innovation and contemporaneity. "All these parallels in our 'EnCantos' symbolize the importance of experiencing the past in building today. Recovering these feelings is one of the most beautiful movements that current architecture has awakened in us and in people who seek to strengthen and establish their bonds within the spaces where they live ," concludes Leticia.
