In 2026, however, it gains momentum by moving through other rooms. At CASACOR Brasília 2026, stainless steel appears in six projects and takes on very different roles: it's in a shelf, in a curved bar, on a countertop, and integrated into compositions with wood, natural stone, leather, fabrics, and colors.

Stainless steel reimagined

In Brasília, one of the most interesting readings lies in contrast. In Espaço à Mesa, by M Rocha Arquitetura, brushed stainless steel appears in a sheet metal shelf displaying porcelain pieces. Exposed concrete, green curtains, and Brazilian design furniture complete the 30 sqm.

Fabiana Boner follows a similar direction in Vértice – Jetour Primavia Experience. Brushed stainless steel covers the curved bar and meets Red Xangô Quartzite, while concrete, wood, and vegetation enter the composition. The curved design also changes the reading of the material: instead of a rigid and purely functional surface, the metal participates in the architecture as a sculptural element.

From the bar to the living room

The trend becomes even more evident when stainless steel leaves the spaces traditionally linked to metal. In Construtopia – Espaço Brasal, by Studio Ark, Bruno Pessoa places stainless steel alongside a yellow carpet, wood, and contemporary artworks. The colorful and welcoming mix is almost the opposite of the industrial aesthetic usually associated with the material.

In Loft Jade, Alessandra Passero and Didacio Duailibe also bet on the combination of stainless steel, wood, natural stone, and signature pieces. The project works with a contemporary language without excesses, showing that the material can also appear in small doses.

In Restaurante Aroma, by Studio Roque Arquitetura, stainless steel shares space with dark wood and textured surfaces. Romulo Carvalho's project uses metal within a setting marked by ancestry and Black culture, featuring works by artists such as Lázaro Roberto and Cipriano and furniture salvaged from the former Hotel Nacional.
