CASACOR Brasília also aims to be a place of experience, not just contemplation. It is with this spirit that the 34th edition of the show brings together, throughout its season, a program of six creative workshops that invite visitors to try, with their own hands, some of the handcraft techniques that run through the edition's theme, "Mind and Heart". Embroidery, watercolor, glass painting, ceramics, porcelain, and fabric printing share the calendar until October 9, all led by guest artists and designers.

The idea behind the program is simple: handmade work as a form of well-being and connection. Each class has limited spots for 8 students, ensuring close guidance from the responsible teacher from start to finish.

"Ceramics" is the first workshop to open the program and also the longest one, with seven sessions led by ceramist Mariana Franco da Silveira Sturzenegger (@fluidesaceramicas), on Thursdays, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., between August 27 and October 8.

"Free Embroidery" comes next, with fashion designer Keyla Beatriz Pires Leal (@ouibordados) proposing stitches inspired by the show's theme, on Saturdays, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., between August 29 and October 3. On the same day, but at a different time, the public can also sign up for "Fabric Printing (Block Print)", with designer Lorene Oliveira Neves (@auroradecor_), from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., also between August 29 and October 3.

"Glass Painting" features artist Vívia Lima Ferreira (@vivia.arte) teaching how to customize glasses on Tuesdays, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., from September 1 to October 6. Meanwhile, "Watercolor" gathers the class on Wednesdays, from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., under the direction of artist Mirian Lindgren (@mirianlindgren.art), between September 2 and October 7.

Closing the program, "Porcelain Painting" is led by visual artist Clara Helena Vivian Rosa (@clarahrosa), on Fridays, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., between September 4 and October 9.

• Where: Casa do Candango – SGAS 603 Visitation: Tuesday to Friday, from 3pm to 10pm. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, from 12pm to 10pm.

• Tickets: R$ 110.00 (full) and R$ 55.00 (half price for students, teachers, PWD and companion, and people aged 60 or older). Presentation of an institutional ID/proof or photo ID is required. Children up to 11 years old do not pay, upon presentation of a document.
