Casa Arcos was the name chosen for the unconventional 140 m² space

Casa Arcos was the name chosen by Leo Shehtman for his project at CASACOR São Paulo 2018. Despite featuring traditional elements, the 140 m² house is anything but conventional. Unlike the space designed by the architect last year, the space features polychromy and It is structurally rich due to the presence of spans formed by arches. 
Among other colors, deep green, analogous blue, earthy tones and their variations stand out, which delimit the integrated environments and surround the central volume while maintaining the privacy of the bathroom. On the balcony, the four classic arches were reinterpreted, gaining the connotation of a work of art. The shape is repeated in the furniture, decorative details and cobogós, which allow integration with the outdoor area. 
Le Corbusier's modernist palette, with dense tones, gives the house personality: sophisticated, unusual and elegant, highlighting golden touches. The monochrome of the rooms is broken up by decorative elements 
The parallel lines of the aluminum cladding that covers the walls delimit an axis that surrounds the entire house and, combined with the beams, create graphic elements. 
Black and white, characteristic tones of Shehtman's work, could not be left out and are featured in the black gradient wallpaper, which covers the entire central volume.
