The environment will be the stage for lectures, chats and debates about architecture, technology and commercial spaces

The need to rethink the social function of commercial environments and to approach the public through dialogue motivated SESC to participate, for the first time, in CASACOR Minas 2018 with the Campo das Palestras . The program was built based on the theme The House It is alive and aims to welcome a diverse audience that will be able to share experiences and reflections on interior architecture, architecture and technology and configurations of work spaces and cultural centers. 
The space was designed by Lucas Durães, architect and founder of GUAJA, and by Fernanda Chagas and Gabriel Jota from Dobra Arquitetura. Conceived based on the idea of movement and flexibility, the Sesc Lecture Field emerged from the proposal to break the usual rigidity established between stage and audience. , prioritizing the exchange of information between participants much more than the traditional notion of knowledge transmission. The place and its furniture were designed and arranged to generate encounters of various types and at different times, whether between people, physically, or through through digital content, produced during the event.
