Gustavo Neves' project is internationally recognized

Architect Gustavo Neves, a well-established professional at CASACOR São Paulo , had one of his projects published in AD España magazine. Construir DECONSTRUYENDO (Building by DECONSTRUCTING) was the name given to the article, which tells the step-by-step process of the project's implementation. The architect always does a deep exercise before starting each project: he tries to look through the eyes of his clients to know what they want, building from sensations. Gustavo Neves started by demolishing the unnecessary walls and opted to leave the ones in the living room living and dining areas, natural, without painting. "They received a special texture developed by me, especially for this project," Neves told the magazine. In the living room, the work Carbonários by Gal Oppido, "a demonstration of strength, history and human resilience", draws attention, as indicated by the designer who, opportunely, placed a vintage green velvet sofa next to it. Highlight the contrast with the black paint and the rest of the room's tones.

The residence is full of artwork and unique designs. Gustavo Neves himself created several pieces for different spaces, such as the rough stone coffee table in the living room. "I believe in the history of things, not in their visual effect , but in its depth. Everything needs a reason to be somewhere and for me architecture is the materialization of people's deepest feelings, the spirit of things is more important than their appearance", declared the professional. The natural stone panel, which is on the bedroom bed, was also designed by Gustavo Neves, as was the chaise in the reading room and the dining table. Upon entering the apartment, a charred wooden trunk serves as a support for a metal eagle that represents "a guardian of the house." Two works by Sheila Mancebo appear next to it on the wall.
