The project combines Brazilian quartzites with European oak, linen, velvet, wool, wood, and glass, creating a composition in which the stone gains importance precisely because it is surrounded by materials of different textures.

In Saleta Entretempos, by Jefferson Otávio, Brazilian quartzite appears alongside wood and leather. The proposal is to create a gathering space, with low lighting and materials that warm the gaze.

In Loja Gustavo Eyewear, Isabella Almeida Arquitetura takes this connection with the territory into the very choice of stone. The project uses natural stones from Minas Gerais in a greenish tone on the tables and central panel, highlighting the local identity within a contemporary and minimalist architecture.

In Refúgio, by L-ARA Arquitetura, the stone stops being a finish and starts to be part of the very structure of the project. Two large gabion walls — steel mesh filled with gneiss — define the space, exposing the texture and irregularities of the rock. The project stems precisely from a reflection on the memory and building knowledge of Minas Gerais.

Another raw material closely linked to the tradition of Minas Gerais appears in Cabana Wellness, by Fabíola Constantino. The project combines wood and soapstone on integrated surfaces, within a proposal dedicated to well-being and sensory experience. The stone helps bring weight and texture to the composition, while the wood adds warmth.
