Natural inspires the color palette at CASACOR Franca 2017

Sunset Balcony - Galpão Du Arquiteto. Mashrabiyas cover the ceiling of the balcony, a space to relax and read while interacting with nature. Vietnamese pots with ficus pandurata, imperial bromeliad, moray eels and beaucarnea (elephant's foot) were the plants chosen to compose the green of the space. A neutral-colored sofa, a rug in shades of green and blue and a side table complete the project.

Shanti Space - Daniela Muniz. The name of the space comes from Hinduism and means peace and tranquility. The concept guides the project that values the natural and cultural beauty of Indonesia. The colors are worked to refer to the serenity of meditation and contact with nature. The four elements inspired the creation of the lake garden. The highlight is a fountain typical of the Asian country.

Master Bathroom - Elaine Queçada and Juliana Brigagão. Natural materials and a variety of plants bring nature into the home, a relaxing retreat with comfort and well-being. The soaking tub is the centerpiece of the space, which is fully integrated by the continuous use of the wooden deck. Neutral tones enhance the natural light in the space.

Spa Equilíbrio - Tiago Castro Arquitetura. The professionals were inspired by the natural beauty and colors of Franca to design the project. The centerpiece of the space is the bathtub carved in soapstone, accompanied by a female bust made of the same material.

Footbridge - Sérgio Machado. The Footbridge is a highlight on the facade of the house. Influenced by the theme of the exhibition, architect Sérgio Machado sought inspiration in the terrain of Franca to create a functional and comfortable project. The wavy wooden brise-soleils, supported by metal structures, facilitate ventilation and provide natural lighting. The molds of the material refer to the three hills on which the city was built. The green wall, with a mix of foliage, establishes a counterpoint to the geometry of the metal and wood structure.

Master Suite - Cristina Capanema. The professional avoided excesses to create a peaceful and relaxing space for a couple. Leather and linen-like textures cover the bedroom walls, lending harmony to the works of art on display. The light brown tones provide a cozy feel for its occupants.

Chef's Receiving Space - Marcelo Diniz, Mateus Finzetto and Deise Pucci – CASACOR Franca (18)

The Chef's Reception Area - Marcelo Diniz, Mateus Finzeto and Deise Pucci. With integrated areas, the project pays homage to Ana Luiza Trajano, a native of Franca and owner of the renowned Instituto Brasil a Gosto. At the entrance, the hall displays the collection of authorial recipe books and works of art and crafts collected by the chef on her travels. The colors refer to the Brazilian style present in Ana Luiza's cuisine, with natural elements and light tones.

Designer's Loft - Alex Bonilha and Mahely Oliveira. The duo sought to unite the professional and personal needs of a designer in a single comfortable space. A vertical garden, terrariums and neutral coverings create an aesthetically elegant and welcoming atmosphere.

Collector's Corner | Renault Loft - mf+arquitetos. The project is inspired by a cosmopolitan character and history collector. The architecture is simple and integrated with nature through the use of natural materials such as stone, wood, marble and concrete. The brownish tones bring nostalgia and comfort to the collector who occupies it.

The first edition of CASACOR Franca enchanted visitors with its 30 spaces. Following the 2017 theme of the show, Focus on the Essential , the professionals created projects that were elegant due to their simplicity, with a color palette full of shades of brown, gray and beige.

Natural materials were the trend that made up this palette, making their presence felt in practically every space. Wood, concrete, marble and vegetation coverings brought the typical tranquility of the interior of São Paulo to the architecture, decoration and landscaping. The result surprised the public with beautiful concepts, sophisticated furniture and unusual textures.
