Raw materials are used in the decoration of spaces at CASACOR Rio

Raw materials such as demolition wood, stone, cement, concrete, corten steel, mesh and metal tiles are present in several environments at CASA COR Rio 2015 , proving that they also decorate. Beautifully, the raw materials are inserted into structures, details and even the most romantic spaces. Check out the selection that the blog A Cor da Casa made! The Photographer's Home Office , by Pedro Paranaguá, is colorful, romantic and feminine. And the cement ceiling, maintained in the original by the architect, creates an interesting contrast in this environment. At Garçonnière , André Piva and Vanessa Borges maintained the original cement and stone walls. At Lounge Renault , Duda Porto sought out gabion walls (normally used to contain slopes) as a solution for rapid construction for his environment. Materials such as steel, stone and metal mesh are in evidence there.

Another very different wall is that of the Collectors' Studio , by Maurício Nóbrega. There, the architect used a type of metal tile as a covering and also used the material to display a large part of the painting collection on display in the room. In Reception , by Erick Figueira de Melo, the staircase took on a new look with paint that imitates corten steel. CASA COR Rio 25 Years When: From September 1st to October 13th, 2015.
