Itinerant Loft takes CASACOR to various locations in BH
CASACOR Minas Gerais 2017 is full of new features. The show opened with the aim of transforming Belo Horizonte and promoting cultural renewal in the Sapucaí region. Several initiatives are being carried out in this sense, such as the revitalization of the mansion that is part of the Architectural Complex. from Praça da Estação, the program of lectures , debates and workshops and the Varanda CASACOR Minas project, which transforms the block in front of the event into a large balcony with activities for the population. With the aim of bringing the world of architecture and decoration to every corner of the city, the 23rd edition of the show also features a Traveling Loft . The space was designed inside a bus by architect Caio Prates. The idea is to take advantage of the relationship that The event has been working with the city to discuss mobility and a new way of perceiving and experiencing urban space. Measuring 2.38 m wide and 10 m long, the professional faced the challenge of creating a complete, contemporary and versatile home. The chosen model of the vehicle is the same one used in local public transport and houses a living room and integrated TV, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The Traveling Loft could easily be used as a home or temporary accommodation for a couple. The Itinerant Loft will take CASACOR to various points in the city. The project also features an outdoor lounge and a detachable deck that can host cultural events, chats, lectures and various other activities at each stop.
