With 160 m², CASA_DEZESSEIS is a complete residence, designed by Moacir Schmitt Jr. and Salvio Moraes Jr. for CASACOR São Paulo 2018. It has a living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and outdoor area, all created from based on the logic of integrated spaces.
Anyone looking at the space from the outside can get a complete sense of its constituent parts. This is because the doors are made of large panes of glass that allow plenty of natural light to enter.
Inside, visitors will come across countless curious objects such as books, statuettes and other types of souvenirs and ethnic items that bring personality to the space, as if it were occupied by an inhabitant passionate about travel and different cultures. In addition to these, the House has works by some renowned professionals of Brazilian modernism such as Alfredo Volpi and Milton Dacosta, and contemporary artists such as Alejandro Lloret and Fabiana Loos.
The landscaping was designed by Thalita Vitachi and was inspired by tropical forests. Diverse species and an abundance of colors surround the home, with highlights including the vertical garden and the water feature, both of which can be seen from the bedroom.
