Espaço Índigo Comgás allows circulation, but is not limited to being just a place of passage - the environment also allows interaction and coexistence between visitors.
“A friendly public space, an urban living room, where people can rest, contemplate, meditate and interact. A space where people will be welcomed to relax amidst the conflicts of the city,” he comments. The environment features an innovative element: the Rubens Tube, a physical experiment in which flames of fire, fueled by piped natural gas, dance to the rhythm of musical sound waves.
- This space will also be the stage for the launch of exclusive pieces that pay homage to architects who worked in the city of São Paulo. The bench references the spatialities of Oscar Niemeyer, just as the Mandacaru bike rack references the legacy of Lina Bo Bardi. “In a metropolis like São Paulo, we are almost always passing through. Our aim is to ensure that no one just passes through here, but rather experiences the pleasure of living together,” explains Napolitano.
