Lines and colors design the bathroom at CASACOR São Paulo 2019
Linhas e cores desenham banheiro na CASACOR São Paulo 2019 Lines and colors draw the project by architects Vanessa Trad and Nathalia Dalberto for CASACOR São Paulo 2019. The professionals from the Trad Dalberto office designed the WC Linha in their first participation in the show. The environment has an impressive visual impact on visitors who are enchanted, at first sight, by the color palette selected by the duo. The tones Crown Jewel, Persian Water and Coral Oriental transformed the bathroom decor into a space that is more than functional, but also one of connection and affection. The tones reference the bottom of the sea, where the blue is punctuated by the colors of the corals and other elements. With the aim of transforming a cold and impersonal environment, a common characteristic of bathrooms, into something welcoming and affectionate, Vanessa and Nathalia worked on a project that aims to generate connections, following the premise of the exhibition: affection, technology and nature. Affection is valued through the exhibition of handcrafted works. Designer Mari Dabbur was invited to carry out an artistic intervention in the space. With installations built with simple techniques and elements, the aim of the intervention design is to generate great visual impact, in addition to connecting the people and bring back a more human look at themselves. The weaves made with cotton thread are displayed in two areas: the first is right in the entrance corridor and the other at the cabin door. In both places, the gradient effect was worked colors, reinforcing the message of movement and transformation. This consumption is communicated to the public in real time, through a digital panel, enhancing visitor interaction with the space. CASACOR SAO PAULO 2019: WHEN? From May 28th to August 4th
