Design and timelessness mark the 800 m² house designed by Melina Romano

Interior designer Melina Romano has been confirmed for CASACOR São Paulo 2019. At last year's show, the professional designed Estúdio Trama . In 43 m², the space had a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room, in a functional and integrated way. In contrast to the project for the São Paulo exhibition, Melina Romano is responsible for the interior design of an 800 m² country house, which bears the architectural signature of Simone Meirelles and mixes the new with the old, the modern with the bucolic. In the living room, the designer chose pieces by Antonio Citterio, Jader Almeida, Marcel Wanders, Sergio Rodrigues and Marcus Ferreira, as well as shelves full of hand-picked lampshades, which bring even more comfort with indirect lighting.

Highlighting the graffiti by artist Vermelho Steam, inspired by 19th century puppet theater. The urban artwork connects with the countryside through the wall that connects the living room to the dining room. In this room, the table and chairs set up the space perfect for hosting large family lunches and events. The other walls feature antique accessories from the resident's family and elements by contemporary artists, such as Calu Fontes.

Sliding doors integrate the internal and external areas, ensuring the entry of natural light and ventilation and the fluidity of the spaces. The external furniture mixes functionality with iconic pieces such as the chaise by Paola Lenti. The hydraulic tile is enhanced by the pergola, which plays with light and shade on the balcony and creates a delicious effect, perfect for coffee with cornmeal cake.

On the second floor, there are the suites and the house's spa. Each bedroom was personalized according to its owners, but following the concept of the house. Highlights include the bathrooms with metal elements, cabinets, showers and custom-made fixtures.
