When Melina Romano thought of
CASACOR 's theme,
A Casa Viva , the professional drew on the stories and feelings that weave and result in the fabric of life to combine the concept of space in the exhibition's identity. It was from this that
Estúdio Trama emerged, marking Melina's debut at
CASACOR São Paulo 2018 . At 43
m², the studio has a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room, in a functional and integrated way. All the decoration and style of the project comes from the plot – it inspires and makes up practically all the elements of the loft: the hydraulic tile, designed by the designer herself and which features the design of a seam; on the bookshelf, also signed by Melina, which embraces the entire environment, becoming one of the key pieces of decoration and even on the acrylic boxes, which show the resident's trajectory through her personal objects, such as an old cup, a yarn, photos, shoes, bags, among other items. Other furniture steals the show in the decor, such as the sofa, also designed by the designer, which can be used as a bed, the
armchair by Guilherme Wentz and the office chair designed by Alessandra Delgado. The colors, which vary from mustard nuances, blues and a touch of rosé, add life and warmth to the environments, in addition to covering furniture, accessories and walls.
Still worth mentioning, there are items such as the bowl used as a lamp, created by Projeto Garagem – NGO, which collects broken crockery from renowned buffets and transforms them into works of art. The highlight is the work by artist Nao Yuasa, installed on the wall, in a pink tone, which is, literally, a weave, completing the studio's concept.
