Designed to be a playroom, the
We All Live in a Yellow Submarine space was designed by the duo Talita Freire and Bianca Lopes at
CASACOR Bahia 2018 .
Inspired by the work of one of the greatest rock bands of the millennium, the professionals combine visual elements with a contemporary and
eco-friendly atmosphere to transport visitors to an immersive and innovative experience.
Sustainability is present throughout the project: the duo reuses a shipping container, which houses the entire space inside. For the coverings, Bianca and Talita use thermal and acoustic insulation in PET wool and solar panels. On the roof, the submarine has photovoltaic panels, that absorbs sunlight and transforms it into energy.
The playful environment makes several references to the band, such as Miu Monteiro's graffiti, the pedestrian crossing on Abbey Road, which became famous for the photo of the Beatles crossing it, and the musical instruments, making the space multisensory.
