In the 1940s, Disney released the animation “Have You Ever Been to Bahia?”, in which the characters were enchanted by the natural beauty of the state. The Beach Loft is the creation of architect Marlon Gama for CASACOR Bahia 2018 and also a tribute to all the splendor of the city of Salvador. With 67 m², the space consists of a lounge, reading area, living room and dining room, designed to accommodate a family on vacation.
The light atmosphere, similar to that of a coastal cabin, is mainly due to the predominance of white on the walls and ceiling, accentuated by the abundant natural light from the windows. Furniture designed by designers such as Sergio Rodrigues, Jader Almeida, Fernando Massani and Paulo Sartori brings the comfort and coziness characteristic of Brazilian pieces. The integration between the different rooms gives the loft a casual feel and allows everyone to enjoy the view of All Saints Bay without barriers.
To finish, the professional selected works of art that express the cultural vibe of contemporary Brazil. A painting by artist and musician Carlinhos Brown sets the tone for the room, along with images with natural themes by Flávia K, Lu Brito and Fábio Magalhães.
