HIDDEN GARDEN - ANDREA CAVASSA AND PRISCILLA BANDY. To give an air of intimacy, mirrored window-shaped panels welcome the visitor. Several varieties of plants adorn the wooden ceiling and marble walls, in a private oasis.

CASA DE PLAYA - JENNIFER JUNEK AND MARILÚ SALCEDO. The beach house is designed to be comfortable year-round and can be used as a primary residence. The gray on the walls brings a contemporary air, and the eucalyptus warms up pillars, panels, and frames. The organic appeal takes on a modern look in the design of the mirrors above the sink.

ROOFTOP - LUISA ANTICONA AND MARGARITA BRACAMONTE. For ancient Peruvians, mountains were deities that represented protection and the cult of spirituality. The terrace, which is also at the top, keeps this inspiration and refines the aesthetics until it reaches simple lines, revealing a space to share and relax.

NICOLÁS Y BIANCA - TETÉ ANAVITARTE. The professional's grandchildren, aged one and three, inspired the space, which follows the Montessori methodology. Every detail is designed to develop the children's psychomotor skills and independence, with low furniture that leaves clothes, books and toys within reach.

ESTUDIO CON LIBERTAD - BOCONCEPT - CAROLINA VIDALES AND SANTIAGO GÓMEZ. With a warm and sophisticated atmosphere, it reflects the lifestyle of a designer and an artist. The color palette is based on gray, with strokes of blue and some delicate touches, such as floral prints. Natural materials awaken diverse sensations, including marble, leather and wood in balance.

GOURMET STORE WITH GARDEN - ANN SULLIVAN - EKATERINA ZAKHAROVA AND MANOLO ARIAS. For professionals, paradise is translated into a flower garden, whose peace and tranquility return what is essential. With this concept, a cozy space was delimited with wood, few items of furniture and overflowing vegetation - showing that nature wins in the end.

FACADE - CLAUDIA PÉREZ-NOVOA AND DANIEL GONZÁLEZ-KELLY. The project reveres the past and at the same time projects the future. It updates and enhances the original forms of the facade of the old Pabellón de Caza restaurant, one of the most renowned in the city in the 1980s.

OFFICINA DEL CHEF - DIEGO OLIVERA. The colors of the Peruvian jungle meet industrial elements. To give coherence to all these elements - from organic to modern -, a palette of earthy tones was adopted, with strokes of orange, as well as nuances of green and turquoise, under an intimate light. The table is the center of attention, with a marble top contrasting with the rustic wooden base.

BISTRO Y TERRAZA - MARIANA OTERO AND YERKO ZLATAR. In the old restaurant, there was a certain safari atmosphere. This was maintained by the duo, who bet on the African look in some adornments, natural materials and nuances of yellow. A discreet voluptuousness that contrasts with pure lines, which summarize the intention of more functionality and simplicity.

STUDIO CON ONDA FRESCA - JESSIE D'ANGELO. Since discovering the space, the designer has fallen in love with the feeling of being in the countryside, surrounded by eucalyptus trees under the sunlight. This was the feeling she sought to convey in the 100m2 project, with living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and terrace. Fabrics and a mix of patterns add to the natural textures and works of art by Cynthia Malamud, Claudia Caffarena, Sonia Céspedes Rossel and José Carlos Umbert.

PARAÍSO DEL COCINERO - EMILIO JORDÁN AND PERCY BIAGGI. For the chef, the kitchen is the space that connects him to what he loves most. Therefore, intimacy is a fundamental concept, which is expressed in the use of dark tones in duality with white and woody tones. The design of the cabinets and the way of displaying utensils reveal the functional vocation of the project.

OFFICE OF RECORDS - ELMO RUBIO AND ORLANDO ESPINOZA. The 1950s have a strong presence, present in practically all the furniture selected. One of the exceptions is the 19th century desk, which dialogues with contemporary objects and works of art, in the environment inspired by a country house.

WINTER GARDEN - LAURA TORRES AND MARGAUX EYSSETTE. The light enters a zenithal opening and the mirror floor enhances the effect, in addition to multiplying the wallpaper with an exuberant print. The result is a dreamlike atmosphere, between walking in the sky and in the jungle. The chaise is modern and, at the same time, refers to Peruvian artisanal roots.

BATHROOMS - NICOLE ZELA. The wallpaper is the star of the show and brings back the safari theme that is part of the essence of the space. Its color scheme, with emphasis on gray, silver, gold and beige, is followed throughout the project in the men's bathroom. The lighting helps to harmonize all the elements and lends a modern touch.

DEL SOLTERO DEPARTMENT - ROCÍO GONZALES. The starting point was as simple as possible: the texture of the materials. Cement, wood and iron create an industrial ambiance that, at the same time, dialogues with nature and freedom. The highlight is the mid-20th century furniture from the Mancraft collection, which values simplicity and artisanal work.

The exposed columns and beams give it a Mediterranean feel. In the kitchen, the open cabinets bring a contemporary feel, as do the stainless steel appliances.

VETIVER ISLAND - ALOIS KENNERKNECHT AND MARÍA TUPAC-YUPANQUI. The beautiful and the useful come together in this proposal, which highlights the Vetiver species. The plant is widely used to contain erosion and restore soil, conveying a message about the planet's climate change. At the same time, the project highlights its ornamental character.

PATIO DEL ENCUENTRO - JUAN SEBASTIÁN RICO. Five wooden pyramids orbit a circular garden and defy gravity, joined at the base. The natural raw material is highlighted to convey the message of preservation and the importance of wood certification. The sculptures also emit lights and sounds, creating other connections with visitors.

MAIN GARDEN - LIZETTE MIRÓ QUESADA, MARCIA LENZ AND VERONICA SAENZ. The proposal was to show the different possibilities of creating a garden using the existing space, integrated into the architecture of the house. Light effects invite you to experience the corner at night. Modern lines dialogue with tropical landscaping, with influences from Brazilian and Peruvian professionals.

POP UP ARTE & DESIGN - ROCÍO RODRIGO. The space encourages interaction between people of all ages, including children, who wish to explore modern and contemporary works of art. The simplicity of the wooden structure breaks the formality of traditional galleries, in addition to bringing the works closer to the public in gutter displays. Another resource that was worked on in detail was the lighting.

Plural references can be found in the 2017 edition of CASACOR Peru , held in the space of the former Pabellón de Caza restaurant, one of the most renowned in the city in the 1980s. In addition to plenty of space, with more than 3 thousand square meters , the construction maintained a mix original style that served as inspiration for the 44 participating professionals .Warm elements of Mediterranean architecture, the rusticity of the surrounding eucalyptus forests and even a touch of African safari meet artisanal elements from Peru and the tropical air of the jungle, in an eye-catching combination.The 27 environments in the exhibition connect to the history and nature of the place, strengthening awareness regarding preservation and sustainability. The projects pay special attention to lighting and focus on the beauty of contrasts, between more welcoming materials, such as wood and natural fibers, and sophisticated ones, such as stones and marble.
