The Casa Capital and Cozinha DECA sets of spaces were created, respectively, by the veteran CASACOR duo, Ney Lima and Walléria Teixeira. The projects pay homage to the modern architecture of the CASACOR Brasília 2019 headquarters, by Oscar Niemeyer, through a decoration sober and minimalist, but with natural and technological elements. This year, both will participate together in the Janelas CASACOR project, signing the São Geraldo Gourmet Box also in Brasília.
Referencing the modernist tradition of extensive use of concrete, the walls were covered in gray, with a rustic texture. The vinyl flooring, on the other hand, simulates wood. Both the paint and the covering are sustainable. So that the bathroom would not look isolated from the rest of the house, a smart glass was used that is made of an ultra-thin display placed between two sheets that, when not occupied, remains colorless. When activated, it becomes opaque.
The furniture is made up of exclusive pieces by designer Jader Almeida, including the Up Armchair by Gaetano Pesce and the stainless steel sinks by Deca. The sofa allows for several different arrangements, ensuring that everyone can sit comfortably. regardless of the situation. The works of art were selected by visual artist Valéria Pena Costa.
