Using
natural light is a way to save on electricity and also ensure spaciousness in the space. In a duplex apartment located in Tel Aviv, Israel, the designers in charge of the
Tal Goldsmith Fish project innovated by including
glass blocks on the wall to
capture the light. sunlight and make the space wider.
The design team sought to create a cleaner atmosphere for a peaceful home away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They took advantage of the
double-height ceiling to create a bridge in the center of the space. In this way, they were able to soften the architecture and convey more comfort.
The bridge, in addition to helping with visual connection, also provides a greater proportion of space on a human scale and helps with a
variety of angles for residents to enjoy the
view, which displays a beautiful landscape of the beach .
Another advantage is that the space changes at different times of the day, as, depending on the position of the sun, a
new reflection is created - which gives a special charm and a lot of personality to the project.
On the upper floor, where the bedrooms are located, the professionals included a
second wall of glass blocks to
separate the sleeping area, dressing area and bathroom , but as the blocks have a certain transparency, this kept them integrated.
The designers also opted for a
monochromatic palette in which
white takes center stage in the spaces . This strategy is quite smart in places that want to improve circulation and take advantage of the
