The new Carbono Home headquarters in Moema , São Paulo, is designed by renowned architecture and design studio Superlimão . The fun and comfortable project marks the second partnership between the two companies, as the studio had previously worked on the design of the flagship of the brand. Projeto Carbono Home em Moema por Superlimão Studio The surprising decor uses vibrant colors in the rooms – a creative approach that gives certain areas a more informal and scenic look. To avoid looking overwhelming, only a few rooms have adopted the monochromatic palette , which works as a real twist on the store's design, with modern touches of design pieces. Projeto Carbono Home em Moema por Superlimão Studio The project gave new life to an old house listed as a historical heritage site , and its objective was already defined from the beginning: to reinforce the brand's new positioning. In practice, Superlimão created a furniture store with the comfort of a home and flexible spaces. to meet the new Carbono Home identity .
The challenge faced by the architects was the conditions of the listed building, which did not allow significant changes to the façade and the structure of the interior walls. To innovate, they decided to create an installation in the existing space and take advantage of the property's characteristic materials, such as exposed brick . , wooden frames and stairs . Projeto Carbono Home em Moema por Superlimão Studio The furniture display areas also underwent a small renovation: the architects chose to remove the existing porcelain tiles and applied epoxy resin over the mortar, giving the space a stripped-down appearance. The idea of using a neutral palette for the furniture display area was to avoid contrasting the environment with the furniture for sale , while In short-stay spaces, Superlimão adopted more striking colors.
