Traditional jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. is coming to Guanabara Bay with a lounge designed by Joy Garrido for CASACOR Rio de Janeiro . The project was inspired by the brand's new collection, Hardware, which pays homage to the cosmopolitan and urban scene of New York City. .
The metals of the jewelry are represented in the industrial style that the professional applied to the space. The beams and pipes are exposed on the ceiling and a raw metal portico occupies the center of the Lounge with five totems to display Tiffany pieces.
In contrast to the brutality of the industrial style, the brand’s symbolic blue appears on one of the walls, as well as elements in velvet and marble, which bring the traditional sophistication of Tiffany&Co. Professional Joy Garrido defines her loft as “a space for socializing, making brand relationship with an audience that is not yet used to it.”
