This year is a time of celebration at Disney: Mickey Mouse turns 90! Created by Walt Disney, he made his first appearance on November 18, 1928, in the short "Steamboat Willie."
Originally, Mickey was voiced by Walt Disney himself and became a pop culture icon, as well as being remembered as the great icon of the Disney empires. Mickey was initially named Mortimer, but Lilly, Walt Disney's wife, chose to change the mouse's name.

This year, the not-so-young character turns 90 and Disney couldn't help but pay tribute to him. In New York, the exhibition "Mickey: The True Original Exhibition" will be held between November 8 and February 10, 2019. In it, contemporary artists will have the opportunity to exhibit never-before-seen works, developed especially for the event.
The parks will not be left out of the celebration: in Orlando, between November 16 and 18, special food and products will be on sale. The character will also be able to hear a warm congratulations from visitors at the Magic Kingdom. In California, also on the 18th, a special cavalcade with other characters will pay tribute to the mouse. In Shanghai, a giant card will be displayed for visitors to wish him a happy birthday. Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo will have special presentations on the date.
