Integration and timeless elegance define 154 sq m renovation in Recife

With 154 sq m and a privileged location on Boa Viagem beach, in Recife (PE), this apartment underwent a complete renovation to become a sophisticated and functional urban retreat. Signed by the Romário Rodrigues Arquitetos office (from the CASACOR São Paulo lineup), the project was tailor-made for a mature couple seeking elegant, welcoming, and practical projects for their routine.

To meet the program of needs, the original floor plan was completely reinterpreted, prioritizing the integration of the social areas and optimizing circulation. Today, the living room, dining room, and balcony form a single, continuous project, entirely oriented toward the sea view.

The private area houses two suites with a neutral and cozy atmosphere, while the kitchen and bathrooms received updated finishes and fixtures.

The great challenge of the intervention was to balance timeless sophistication with practical solutions for everyday life. The answer came through the intelligent use of custom-made joinery, responsible for organizing the spaces and warming up the property's sober color base — composed of shades of gray, off-white, and natural wood. Fine materials, such as marble and slatted panels, add texture and refinement to the ensemble.

The project's personality stands out with the curation of contemporary art. The living room displays the oscillating and dynamic geometry of artist Felipe Scovino, in dialogue with a striking piece from the Minha Vida series by Renato Valle, in addition to an iconic canvas in Klein blue.

The furniture blends pieces with organic lines and coffee tables of multiple materials in the living room, complemented by a solid wood dining table and welcoming scenic lighting in the bedrooms and powder room.
