Located on the northern coast of Bahia, Casa Trama — designed by the GAM Arquitetos firm (part of the CASACOR Bahia lineup) — is a 328 sqm residential retreat that reflects a family's emotional connection with Praia do Forte. Developed under a fully integrated architecture, interior and landscape design project, the residence draws its central inspiration from the brise-soleil wrapping the exterior structure, whose geometry makes a direct reference to the weaves of linen.

The design prioritized thermal comfort, cross natural ventilation, and an open, welcoming aesthetic, perfectly suited to the tropical climate and seaside lifestyle.

The materiality of the house balances resilience and warmth. The brushed national granite flooring, in a light gray tone, provides a highly durable mineral base, easy to maintain and aesthetically consistent. To counterbalance the rusticity of the stones, natural wood takes center stage in ceilings, window frames, cabinetry, and brises, warming up the projects and connecting the interior spaces with the surrounding landscape.

In the social area, the continuous layout connects the living room, dining area, and gourmet space, all strategically positioned toward the east to take advantage of the morning light and prevailing winds. The gourmet area, although covered, transforms into a large veranda when its window frames are fully opened and retracted into the cabinetry, creating a seamless transition with the pool deck.

Designed for the post-beach routine, the ground floor furniture features waterproof fabrics, removable covers, and a curation rich in natural fibers such as rush, rattan, straw, and jute.

The private area preserves this same practical and affectionate language through masonry cabinets, solid wood, and handcrafted weaves. In the master suite, the window frames with movable brises frame the vegetation and the sea, while the woven fiber furniture invites rest.

The project's identity is completed by the richness of the details: exclusive handcrafted pieces made by a Rio de Janeiro artisan, objects brought from Indonesia and works of art alluding to Bahia, the orixás and marine nature.
