Michelangelo's David replica to take centre stage at Expo 2020 Dubai

Michelangelo's iconic David sculpture will be replicated by the "world's largest 3D printer" to be part of the global Expo 2020 Dubai fair. The copy will accurately reproduce in full size the Renaissance piece, one of the most important in the history of art – counting , thus, more than 5 meters high.

The fair, which was scheduled to open this month but was postponed due to the consequences of the pandemic, will now take place between October 1, 2021 and October 31. March 2022, bringing together 192 countries, as well as companies, multilateral organizations, educational establishments and millions of visitors to Dubai. The event aims to unite the global community around ideas and innovations that play a key role in building a better, more sustainable future for all.
