Miami Art Week 2018: Brazilian artists exhibit at Pinta Miami

In its 12th edition, Pinta Miami – Crossing Cultures , a contemporary art fair that will take place from December 5 to 9, will present different international projects, offering a unique platform for Latin American art with a global perspective. In 2018, the show will showcase two Brazilian artists through the Janaina Torres gallery, presenting performances of rare visual impact, curated by Mario Gioia.

Talitha Rossi will exhibit works from the series CAPS LOCK: Mother Nature and the Daughter of the Internet, in which the artist dresses up as a doll, placed in different situations and places around the world. She thus records a generation of young people addicted to Wi-Fi, through an eyeless character who moves freely between nature and the city, in search of a real connection. Solitude and crowds are part of this search.
