The Danish Arts Foundation returns to Milan Design Week with the Mindcraft exhibition, which brings the best of Danish design to Fuorisalone . The theme is the essence of design, maintaining a relationship with craftsmanship through the objects chosen by curator Ditte Hammerstrøm, which emphasize the designers' commitment to handmade, materials and aesthetics.
In collaboration with Kvadrat, Ditte has made one of his dreams come true: to create a 170 m long sofa. Large yellow and grey cushions cover the walls of the space, wrapping around the columns and providing a contemplation area.
The central area is organized like a large stage, where the 15 objects stand out on their concrete platforms. Three artists and designers will be exhibiting prominently in the exhibition: Gitte Jurgensen, Carl Emil Jacobsen and Petra Dalstrom.
