Interni exhibition, one of the most traditional at
Fuorisalone , which is now in its 22nd edition. The
Human Spaces exhibition, which takes place in the courtyard of the Università Statale of
Milan , is one of the most traditional.
This year, Interni magazine and its director Gilda Bojardi (who, in 1990, invented FuoriSalone, a parallel event to the Furniture Fair) bring a series of installations that value human beings, environmental sustainability, respect for nature and the economy. The projects work on the concept of so-called "human
spaces " and cover topics such as sustainability, environmental awareness, ocean pollution, climate change and the scarcity of natural resources.

Fernando and Humberto Campana once again show the international public the genius of Brazilian design. The designers transform the space with an installation, entitled Sleeping Piles, which foresees the construction of seven towers – five meters each – covered in grass.
The idea is to reproduce the architectural curves of the arches and pillars of the University building itself. "We want visitors to see this installation as an invitation to relax and leave behind the stress and chaos of the metropolis and our daily lives," explain Fernando and Humberto Campana.
