Festival of Lights illuminates the city of São Paulo in October

The second edition of the São Paulo Festival of Lights takes place over three weekends in October and redefines monuments, buildings and important landmarks in the capital of São Paulo. Organized by Visualfarm , a studio specializing in digital art and mapping techniques, the festival aims to give a new face for the city and engage residents with architecture. “The city is our home and we need to interact with it. The festival of lights is an event that seeks to encourage visitors to various points of the city, transforming it into a huge art and technology gallery”, says Alexis Anastasiou, founder of the company.

On the weekend of the 18th, two simultaneous actions will be carried out. The first one occupies the corner of Rua Augusta with Rua Fernando de Albuquerque and is signed by Letícia Pantoja , one of the talented women in Brazilian Video Jockey. The artist uses magazine clippings , colored papers and paints to digitally manipulate an aesthetically surprising collage.
