During the Miami Art Basel exhibitions, the entire cultural and artistic circuit of Miami comes together to welcome thousands of collectors, dealers and art enthusiasts. For this reason, the Art Basel period is known as Miami Art Week .
This is an excellent week to go to shows, exhibitions, concerts and, of course, visit private galleries that are not part of Art Basel but that do not leave anything to be desired in their collections. Check out three of them below!
De la Cruz Collection
Founded by Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz in 2009, the gallery is located in Miami's Design District. The building is an extension of the couple's home, and they wanted to share their passion for art and education with the public.
The de la Cruz gallery is free to visitors and the current exhibition, Force and Form , features pieces by Salvador Dalí, Tauba Auerbach, Kathryn Andrews, Hernan Bas and others.

Margulies Collection at the Warehouse
A former warehouse is home to the Marguiles Collection at the Warehouse. Seasonal exhibitions of works from the collection of collector Martin Z. Margulies are open to the public free of charge. The gallery also hosts special exhibitions and educational programming.
