In addition to these, the fair has five more curated programs. They are:
AIM
This is the second time the event has been held and it incorporates video and music. The works will be projected onto a large screen outdoors. The curator is David Gryn, curator of the Art Basel Miami Beach video program, which is making its debut at ArtRio . The program will feature live music by English DJ Max Reinhardt, who is not only a musician but also a broadcaster and host of Late Junction on BBC Radio 3.
CONTEMPORARY BRAZIL
Curated by Bernardo Mosqueira, the first edition of the program will take place this year and is dedicated to galleries and/or artists outside the Rio de Janeiro-São Paulo axis. The space will allow for a broader view of national artistic production.
IDA
Renato Tomasi is the curator responsible for the design sector, which will take on a new format this year. Designers, galleries and studios will participate in the program, which promises to be more integrated with the fair, in addition to showcasing the diversity of Brazilian production from the perspective of creation and the variety of raw materials found in Brazil.
SOIL
The program is aimed at exhibition projects that showcase a selection of the collections of important art collectors.
WORD
The program will show how the word, both written and spoken, is present in the most diverse processes of art creation. Poet and visual artist Claudia Sehbe is the curator of the sector.
