Oca, in Ibirapuera Park, in São Paulo, is hosting another exhibition of international relevance. Chinese artist Ai Weiwei , curated by Marcello Dantas, presents the exhibition Ai Weiwei Raiz . Awarded internationally, it celebrates its more than 70 thousand visitors with recognition from one of the most prestigious titles in the area of architecture and design, the virtual magazine DesignBoom, which elected the Chinese artist's exhibition in Brazil as one of the ten best exhibitions in the world in 2018.
Nationally, the exhibition was considered the best of the year by APCA, the São Paulo Association of Art Critics. With 8,000 m², the exhibition features 70 historical works and another 24 new ones created from Ai Weiwei's immersion in Brazil and its traditions.
On display at Oca until January 20, 2019, the largest exhibition of the artist's life will continue in 2019 to Belo Horizonte, from February 5 to April 15, 2019, and then travel to Rio de Janeiro, from August 20 to April 4. November 2019, both at CCBB. Ai Weiwei Root Service
